DASHBOARD
New option to organize the sorting of a view

In this new version of TŌGŌ, we have added the possibility to create new customized sorting at view level. In addition, it will be possible to select which ones are desired in each view. This will help contributors to customize the view-level sorting that users see, showing only those that make sense according to the context. And if contributors do not have enough with the ones offered by TŌGŌ, they will be able to create their own with the help of an administrator.

VIVA CONNECTIONS
TŌGŌ features can be embedded in the VIVA Connections dashboard

TŌGŌ is fully aligned with Microsoft’s roadmap, unleashing the full potential of the VIVA family in our clients. With this new version, some of the product features can be embedded in the VIVA Connections dashboard, allowing our users to check the most recent TŌGŌ social activities or their most used applications, with the rest of the VIVA Connections dashboard components. We encourage our clients to add a dashboard on the most preferred position of their digital workplace to start enjoying the VIVA Integrated Experience.

TEMPLATES
Limitation of the “Save in gallery” option in TŌGŌ Settings

The “Save to gallery” option has been limited to administrators only to improve the governance of templates, as this action makes the saved template visible to all users when creating communities or pages.

CUSTOMIZABLE QUICK LINKS
Added new settings

Two new options have been added to the Quick Links settings, “Add a navigation link” and “Add an action”, giving more design possibilities to editors.

Allow to remove the icons from the elements

A button has been added to remove the icon from an item, making it easier for contributors to configure Quick Links.

Remove the restriction that at least one item must exist

The restriction that at least one element must exist has been removed to make it easier for contributors to set up Quick Links.

DESIGNS
Allow to show pagination dots below the Dashboard

A new configuration has been added in the Dashboard settings to show the paging dots below the cards. This allows users to know the total number of existing results, as well as to quickly access to a particular page.

Important: this option is only available in the “Carousel” and “Filmstrip” layouts.

Allow adding custom styles in the card social bar

Added the possibility to assign custom styles in the social bar of cards, giving more flexibility in card design to administrators. For example, the size of the comment icon could be enlarged or reduced.

Improved webpart design

The header design of the webparts has been changed to have a better visualization in tablet or mobile format. In addition, the space of the webparts has also been improved, giving users a better viewing experience of the pages.

TOGO webpart icons have been changed

For a better understanding and localization of TŌGŌ webparts, their icons have been changed, making it faster for editors to find them and clearer what each component does.

DASHBOARD
Responsive design improvements

The Dashboard navigation link has been improved to have a better adaptation in the tablet and mobile version. This way users will see the links on top of the Dashboard, for example the “View all” link, in a better location and without unnecessary spaces.

Reorganization of Dashboard settings

Several configuration options have been reordered to improve the editor’s experience when configuring the Dashboard. In addition, a new section called “Toolbar” has been created, which groups some options that were previously in General, thus making the settings more understandable.

New setting to configure an image when there are no results after a search

A new setting has been added in Dashboard configuration, within the Search section, where to configure an image and a text to be shown to the user when no results are found after doing a search. This gives the user better feedback when typing a text to search for and no results are found.

New setting to set an image when no results are found in a view

Added a new setting in the views configuration, within the No results section, where to configure an image, a text, and a link to be shown to the user when no results are found. This gives the user better feedback when loading a view and no results are found.

EXTERNAL USERS
Improvements in some TŌGŌ components for external users

The behaviour of some components, such as the Activity Center or the User Profile, was not as desired for external users. So, a few improvements have been made to TŌGŌ to make them work the same for all types of users.

ADDONS
Images were not being saved when creating content

The image selected by editors was not being saved in the content creation form, so users did not see all the information and editors had to re-edit the content or upload the image again.

Incorrect verification of the community’s name

During the process of creating communities, when entering the title, it checks if the community already exists. In some cases, this was not done correctly, so the contributor received an error message when trying to create the community instead of a warning message in the title field.

MAIN MENU
The colour of the icons does not change

Normally the menu follows the colours of the community theme. But when the user navigated between communities using the modern redirection, the icons did not update to the corresponding community colour. So, users will see inconsistencies with the colours.

SOCIAL
Delete replies when the parent comment is deleted

When removing a comment, the existing replies were not removed. This meant that users did not see these replies, but they still appeared in the total number of comments on the card. So, this behaviour can lead to confusion for users, as the number of comments does not correspond to what is displayed.

Sometimes the correct data is not displayed in the social bar of the pages

When a user navigates between pages using the modern redirect, the corresponding social bar is not always loaded. So, the user may be receiving the inaccurate information and may take social actions on the wrong page.

APPLICATIONS
Incorrect behaviour when changing the image of an application

When an editor wanted to change the images of an application from the TŌGŌ form, all the previous ones were deleted when the user wanted to add a new one. This is fixed so that the editor does not lose information during this process.

PAGES
Pages stay in draft after applying scheduled publication

When scheduling a news item to be published in the future, when the indicated date arrives, the news item is still in draft instead of being published. So, users do not see the changes applied by the contributors during editing.

DASHBOARD
Change in the future dates on the cards

The Dashboard by default does not show future contents, but there is a possibility to show them. When this option was enabled, the date of the cards was displayed in seconds instead of the format “X hours/days ago”, being uncomfortable for users to know the date of modification of the content.

Does not load the person’s information from the cards

After a change in the component, the person’s information is not loaded from the cards when hovering over the person’s image. We have adapted this component from TŌGŌ so that users can see this information again.

SEARCH
Incorrect application URL

It did not always return the URL of the applications after a change in the type of column used. This resulted in users not being able to access the application.

Error when retrieving the preview image of the contents

For some contents there was an error when retrieving their preview image. This is fixed by leaving the preview image blank, so that users can continue searching without noticing errors.

SUGGESTIONS
Suggestions are not showing modification dates

The design of the Suggestions shows you the title of the content, who has modified it and its modification date. After a format change, the date appeared as undefined, so users did not know when the content was changed.

Suggestions no longer work when a browser translator is present

When a user translates the page using a browser extension, for example with Google translate, the suggestions and the content creation list stopped working. This caused users to have strange behaviour when clicking on the options, as they either did not open anything or opened things that did not apply.

PROVISIONING
Migration message bar sometimes does not hide

Sometimes community contributors would see an incorrect status message for that community. This was because the migration bar was not always hidden correctly, resulting in undesired behaviour for the users.

CUSTOMIZABLE QUICK LINKS
It is not possible to remove designs

Fixed the error that occurred when removing designs within the Customizable Quick Links webpart edition, whereby the editor user was not allowed to remove obsolete, unnecessary, or mistaken designs.

Webpart is not hidden when there are no elements in it

When the option “Hide webpart when there is no content” is selected and there are no results, the fallback image warning about this case is still displayed. This incorrect behaviour is corrected so that users receive the information as the editor has configured the webpart.

WEBPART TOUR
It is not possible to change the webpart tour steps

When trying to retrieve the tour steps when editing the webpart, it keeps loading them, so the editor user cannot change the tour steps for the users to see the correct ones.
